So a little time ago.. I went to visit my babies (they're hardly babies anymore!) and I never put up the pics from it! Lol So here they are. They are all cute, but some are kinda photojournalistic style that I love. Gosh, I wish I could do photography!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Progress!!!!

So we have unofficially/officially booked our wedding reception venue! THANK GOD! I cannot tell you how big of a burden that is lifted off my shoulders, seriously. We've looked at every place that I like from here to Treasure Island. This was our last stop and it is going to work out perfectly! The packages are great, site is gorgeous, and it fits 200 people in our budget!! Go figure! I know all of you brides to be or newlyweds remember what the heck I'm talking about and how stressful it was to find the perfect spot! It seemed like something would be stunning but totally out of our price range.. or something would be cheap but not so pretty. So this is it! Wedgewood Banquet Center is our place to be!

And we have a tentative date of August 21st.. Yes, I said AUGUST! So not only am I crazy busy with life but now I get a wedding to plan in five months :) But honestly, I could not be happier. I cannot wait to be with him. It's soo exciting! Plus, we get to start planning all the fun stuff now :) hollar!

So my help from you guys is.. I need some DIY ideas for favors or reception ideas.. etc. I loved HisMrs idea on photo pieces to put on the bar.. I'm def going to do something like that! So ladies, and gents, get your minds rolling on how to have budget friendly ideas to enhance the location :)

Closer to the day!!

So we've unofficially picked out location.. it's called the Wedgewood Center. It's pretty nice and has an amazing price for 200 people!! Yes, I said it.. 200!! Craziness!! But what can I say? We're very loved. lol jk.

AND

I bought my dress :) I will have to find a picture of it later.. but it's very simple because I have amazing people who are going to add stuff to it. My grandma is doing my veil. And I am just so excited. I honestly wish I didn't have to work to provide for myself or else I'd put more time into planning my wedding lol.

AND

The date is no longer in October but AUGUST> OMGoodness. That means its 5 months away. So I am currently trying to figure out ways to make my life less busy so I can dedicate time to loosing more of this weight! I mean, honestly, I don't want to be skinny-mini, obviously but I would like to have to be able to get my dress altered inwards!!! It fits perfectly without all the understuff on.. so I'll have to take it in anyway.. but you guys know what i mean. :)

Update!

So things are still crazy over here! but I am finally trying to make it a conscious decision to gain control over MY schedule.. lol. Too much stuff going on=not so happy Sam! lol.

My little brother came home this weekend.. it was pretty interesting. We'll just leave it up to the Lord to take care of him still. I don't really know what else to do. He's so different now. He looks like a little chulo wearing grease in his hair, bandana on his shoes, etc. Ugh. It frustrates me so much, what happened to my fun little brother? Where'd he go? I want him back!! So just keep him in your thoughts and prayers.. he'll get better, i know it!

We went to Monterey on Friday to babysit Matt's nieces and nephews.. it was a blast :) They're so adorable. They have tons of energy.. of course they're only 7&12. The youngest, Katee asked if she could be our flower girl and we told her yes.. as long as I was the favorite aunt :) lol. Speaking of wedding stuff.. we declined the Hanoum estate offer. It was way to expensive, and we would like some money left over for our house. :) So we are still on the hunt for a venue. We will find one soon though.. :) we have to! lol. I have another place to look at tomorrow!! If you have any ideas.. let me know :)

Job hunt... I still am currently at the same job with the devil. I am trying to look into what to do about her... but in the meantime looking for another job. Hopefully something will come up soon. If you know how to do something legally about my job situation.. let me know please. It would be a big help!

Weight loss.. I gained some of my weight back.. which is part of the reason I havent been weighing in. I am trying to take mroe control of my schedule and make time for exercise and eating healthy. I have tomorrow off so along with my homework, I'm going to try to go grocery shopping and make food for the week. Like in some of my previous posts, I am going to try and fit WW into my budget. I don't want to go to a free meeting until I can afford to continue to go.. so hopefully with a new job will come a new paycheck! :)

Last weekend was my best friends 21st birthday.. and it was a blast. we started at lunch with our friend Stephanie, which was totally fun. I miss our girls dates and stuff. Then we went to the mall to find her an outift, got our makeup done, ran some errands, and got ready to go out. We went to Sac again.. but it was a blast :) I love going out wiht the girls.. and of course Matt :) I'll post some pics!
